The first rule to applying blush is never go below the bottom of your nose.

Start at the middle or centre of the cheek and apply up to the corner of the eye.

Another thing you shouldn't do is apply blush below your cheekbone.

After applying, blend with a makeup sponge. Make sure you smooth out any lines.

If you have oily skin use a translucent pressed powder to keep your colour looking fresh.
